Start where the fault is
Most enquiries begin with a symptom rather than a part number. These are the three most common, and where each one usually leads.
Set runs, no output voltage
Excitation circuit — residual magnetism, rotating rectifier diodes, then the AVR.
Voltage unstable or hunting
AVR stability trim, sensing leads, and engine governor response under block load.
Mains fails, set doesn't start
AMF panel logic, controller configuration, battery charger and contactor interlock.
