Questions about this part

Does a replacement DSE7320 need configuring?

Yes. A replacement ships with factory defaults. Timers, CT ratio, protection thresholds and input and output functions must be set for the installation, ideally by loading the configuration file from the original module.

What speed sensing does the DSE7320 need?

It accepts a magnetic pickup, a charge alternator W terminal, or alternator frequency. Magnetic pickup is preferred where accurate crank disconnect and overspeed protection matter.
